Journeyman Distillery Bilberry Black Hearts Gin is a quintessentially American gin with a unique berry-spiced signature. Originating from Three Oaks, Michigan, this gin pays homage to the small dark-colored bilberries, which are so difficult to grow and ship commercially that most are foraged. The distillation process is a meticulous craft, performed in very small batches of only a few hundred liters, ensuring a high-quality, pure, and pleasantly fruity gin. The result is a delightful blend with clear notes of ripe blueberries, licorice, and ripe figs, complemented by spicy hints that linger in the background. Crafted from 100% organic Michigan wheat, this gin is a blend of nine botanicals, with dark Bilberry taking center stage. The botanical blend includes traditional gin elements like Juniper, Lemon, Bitter Orange, Cinnamon, Coriander, Anise, Angelica, and Orris root, producing a uniquely American Style Gin.
