Willett Family Estate 9 Year Old Aged in White Oak Barrels Single Barrel Bourbon is funky, added with heavy caramel on the nose. There is this bright oak, paper and vanilla mingle smoothly on a deeper inhale. A deeper intake on the nose senses candied cherry, plum and creamy, viscous grape clafoutis. On the palate the nose present light, another sip builds in a touch of lemon peel, tingling bright vanilla and sweet kiwi frozen yogurt. Lastly this glass produces a big note of plum, raisin, blackberries, and caramel. The mouthwatering finish demonstrates a thick build upon each other. The linger is medium with a soft draw down from a slightly earthy caramel bar.
