Bruichladdich Rockside Farm 2011 Islay Barley is smooth and complex with freshly mowed wet grass on the nose. An almost seaweed like sourness with plenty of citrus. Some smoke or char influenced from the barrel. Fresh and bright, with Meyer lemon and rhubarb. Blended with coconut, white chocolate, and baking spice along with wildflower honey. Incredibly well balanced, with a long, nutty finish.

Bruichladdich Rockside Farm 2011 Islay Barley is crafted with the belief that soil, climate, micro-climate, geographic orientation, natural influences and local weather systems will influence the quality and flavor profile of the spirit, making it a unique expression. Bruichladdich Islay barley 2011 is distilled from barley grown on six western and central Islay farms in 2010.
