Henry DuYore's Rye Whiskey is rich and complex with notes of cereal and pine sap. Mingled with celery root, and sweet rye loaf, set off by warm accents of malted barley. The finish is lively with hints of fresh sugar cane, hibiscus, and agave.
History
Henry DuYore's Rye Whiskey is a unique spirit that is produced by Ransom Spirits in Sheridan, Oregon. This whiskey begins with a mash of 77.8% rye and 22.7% barley. Part of the mash is distilled in a pot still, with the rest distilled in a column still. After blending, the whiskey is aged 18 months in new, charred American oak.
