J.P. Wiser's Canadian Rye Whisky Triple Barrel is a unique trip rye whiskey that is bottled at 45% ABV. It contains a rye content of 62% combined with wheat and corn. This distinctive whisky is triple-barreled, featuring distillates matured in used Canadian whisky, first-fill bourbon, and virgin oak casks, making it exclusive to the United States. First produced in 1857, long before Canada was established, J.P. Wiser began distilling and barreling whiskey in Prescott, Ontario. By the early 1900s, he had expanded his reach, becoming Canada's third-largest distiller and selling his whiskey worldwide.
