History
Maraska Pelinkovac is founded in Zadar, Croatia, in the late 19th century in 1822, embarked on a project to produce pelinkovacs incorporating new modern elements and capturing the essence of Croatian herbal wine tradition. It was recently awarded a gold medal at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, distinguished by its reputation as a herbal wine. It is enjoyed after meals and is served straight without any mixes. It is a very popular herbal liqueur with all eastern Europeans. Serve it in small liqueur glasses.
