123 Tequila Añejo is tequila number three also known as Tres from the 123 tequila series created by David Ravandi. This splendid tequila is produced from the Blue agave grown in the Amatitan mountains in Jalisco Mexico. This Añejo is easy on the nose with aromas of tanning and wood oil notes. You'll notice tones of rich caramel and dark chocolate notes on the palate. The finish is refreshing with a bright hint of agave mingled with a tint of oak.
123 Tequila Añejo was created by David Ravandi after 30 years of specializing in organic farming and distillation. His dream was to create a purely organic and sustainable tequila from the mountains of Amatitan. Plants are aged for 10yrs then harvested. The heart of the plant, “The pineapple” gets roasted in an old-fashioned stone oven. After, they extract the pulp from the juice and begin the fermentation process. To commence creating four different styles of Tequila. Blanco, Reposado, Añejo, and Extra Añejo (diablito).
