Blanton's Green Label

At 80 proof Blanton’s Special Reserve Green Bottle Bourbon is ideal for those new to single barrel bourbons. This bourbon is made with a sour mash of corn, rye and malted barley before maturing in American White Oak casks. he palate has a light airy feel to it making it an easy sipping bourbon. The nose on this one is nice with sour notes of well cooked citrus like rich orange or bright lemon with very mild hints of tobacco and vanilla notes. Soft and silky on the palate blends of rich cream, cardamom, ginger, and spice. The finish is a little bitter on the end with a creamy coating and whispers of cedar.

Blanton's Red Label

Made exclusively for the Japanese market, this premium expression is similar to the Original Single Barrel Bourbon, with one key difference: it is aged for an additional 2 years. This bourbon is made with a sour mash of corn, rye and malted barley before maturing in American White Oak casks. The nose on this one is fruity and sweet with cherry, dried caramel, dried oak, honey and vanilla. On the palate subtle hints of honey, fennel, licorice, ginseng, dry citrus peel, vanilla, and cinnamon. The finish is silky with powerful oak influence, honey, herbal qualities, and spice.

Blanton's Gold Label

The nose on this one is very sweet and sour with prominent full-flavored of citrus, cotton candy, cinnamon, honey, and bright fruit. Blanton's Black Label

Blanton's Black Edition Bourbon is silky and smooth with an exceptionally clean finish. This bourbon is made with a sour mash of corn, rye and malted barley before maturing in American White Oak casks. The nose on this one is very soft and mellow with prominent earthy, herbaceous pine notes. Blends of juniper, blueberries, rich vanilla, honey, rye, slight hints of dried cherry and apple. The palate is full and rich with sharp herbaceous pine notes alongside butter, pepper, honey, chocolate, and oak. The finish is long with prominent oak, and toffee on the back end.

Blanton's Straight From The Barrel

Not only one of the world’s best bourbons, Blanton’s Straight from the Barrel Bourbon Whiskey is one of the world’s best whiskeys. Created for connoisseurs familiar with cask strength whiskeys, this enormous taste profile reaches depths of flavor found only in the rarest of spirits. On the nose we get notes of dark chocolate, caramel and butter with earthy undertones of walnut and hazelnut. The palate delivers intrepid notes of warm vanilla, oak, toasted nuts and a rich spiciness with hints of butterscotch or honey.  The high alcohol by volume is intense and powerful yet inviting. The deep and resonate finish on this bourbon is nothing short of legendary. Blanton’s Straight From the Barrel is best served neat or with a splash of water.

Blanton’s Original Single Barrel

Blanton's Original Single Barrel was the first Blanton's created for ambassadors, dignitaries, and Colonel Blanton’s family and friends. Taken from the center-cut or middle sections of the famous Warehouse H. Today, everyone has access to the world’s first single barrel bourbon. This bourbon is made with a sour mash of corn, rye and malted barley before maturing in American White Oak casks. The nose on this one is very deep, and satisfying with incredibly sweet hints of caramel, vanilla, nutmeg, and citrus. Prominent dry vanilla notes on the palate with subtle hints of honey amid strong caramel and corn. On the palate blends of sweet vanilla, tangy orange citrus and subtle lemon. The finish is medium composed of returning corn, vanilla, and nutmeg flavors. Bottled at 46.5%. This bourbon scored three points higher than Pappy Van Winkle's 23 Year Old Bourbon at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge in 2012.

History
Blanton's Full Lineup Collection Bundle Set features six of the most sought out bourbons, it is best known as "liquid gold"! It is a special Japanese exclusive Blanton's bourbon bottled at 40% ABV. It was first released in1984 by Elmer T. Lee who was the Master distiller at Buffalo Trace at the time. Previously known as the George T. Stagg Distillery. There he worked with Colonel Albert Bacon Blanton who was the president of the Buffalo Trace distillery from 1921-1951. During the time he worked for him, he noticed that when ever there were ambassadors, dignitaries, and Colonel Blanton’s family and friends he would choose a bottle aged at warehouse H at Buffalo Trace. Which is the only metal-clad warehouse at the distillery, the warehouse was built shortly after prohibition and being metal it created a lot of temperature fluctuation because the metal doesn't insulate and it would change how the whisky aged. It is aged a fine 8 years, and has a higher rye content. Although Blanton is all about quality over quantity, the liquor brand can only supply so much at a time. There are eight different stoppers across random bottles of Blanton's–the brand known as the 'whiskey with the horse on top'. They were added in 1999, each stopper has a letter circled on the lower left side to spell out “B-L-A-N-T-O-N'-S.” These are visible upon purchase, though some customers claim that some letters are harder to find than others. Still, Blanton's assures fans that it produces the same number of each every year. Blanton's found overseas will be 700 ml, while domestic releases are 750 ml.
