Centenario Añejo Especial 7 Year Rum is a rum which unveils a rich mahogany color with intense red highlights, inherited from its prolonged barrel aging, inviting the beholder to a unique tasting voyage. It is full bodied with refreshing aromas of fresh red apples, and pressed cider. The palate features a harmonious balance of green guava juice, mingled with fresh grass and green melon. The finish has slight hints of cooked pineapple, honey and cappuccino.

History
Centenario Añejo Especial 7 Year Rum is crafted by Centenario International. It is aged for 7 years in white oak barrels. It is a special mixture of aged rums. This is a masterpiece of rum craftsmanship from the heart of Guatemala, celebrating a century of tradition. Named in honor of the 100th anniversary of the town. This exquisite rum is the creation of the skilled Botran-Requejo family. The legacy is crafted 2,300 meters above sea level, in the highlands of Quetzaltenango, a region known for its profound heritage in spirit production. Centenario rums are distinct, produced using sugarcane honey instead of the traditional molasses, providing a unique flavor profile. This rum is distilled at sea-level but aged in the town of Quetzaltenango at an elevation of 7544 feet, where the cool mountain air slows the aging process, allowing for a more controlled and refined flavor development.
