Mossburn Single Malt Scotch Teaninich Distillery Vintage Casks No. 4 10 Yr lays out a truly unique distinguish experience. On the palate, it reveals the smoothness of pure essence of Scotland's rich heritage, making for a memorable drinking experience. This Bourbon captures the essence of traditional Whiskey craft while embracing the spirit of it's current craftsmanship. It is sweet and mellow with aromas of warm apple sauce and a pinch of white pepper. The palate boasts of wood spices accompanied by gentle oak shavings, burnt toast and raisins. On  the back end you will notice soft notes of aniseed. 

History
Mossburn Single Malt Scotch Teaninich Distillery Vintage Casks No. 4 10 Yr is a unique spirit crafted as the third release as part of Mossburn's Vintage Casks range. Each numbered release will only ever yield a finite number of bottles. Mossburn Distillers & Blenders is a brand new Scotch whisky project owned by Marussia Beverages. The company is headquartered at Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders on the site of the former Jedforest Hotel. It is one of the first new distilleries to be built in the Borders for over 180 years. The first phase of development is construction of the Jedhart Distillery, a small distillery featuring three copper stills, five 5,000 square meter warehouse for pallets and casks and a small caf. The second phase is construction of the Mossburn Distillery and visitor centre, a large production facility with the capacity to produce 25 million litres of spirit per year. There will also be a larger caf and restaurant. Not content with these distilleries, Mossburn is also developing the Torabhaig Distillery on the Isle of Skye, the second distillery there after Highland Park. Obviously building a whisky distillery and waiting for whisky to come online the spirit has to be aged for at least 3 years before it can even be called whisky is a long term project. So, in the meantime, Mossburn have started the ball rolling by bottling a small collection of single malt whiskies and two blended malts, an Island and Speyside, with bespoke cask bills. The single malt bottlings are Ardmore, Blair Atholl, Craigellachie, Inchgower, Linkwood, Miltonduff and Teaninich.
