History
Balcones Texas Rye is crafted with roasted blue corn before being smoked with sun baked Texas scrub oak, wheat, rye, and malted barley. Aged at least two years and bottled at 92 proof. It was founded by Chip Tate, but later sold to Closed Loop partners. A commitment to craftsmanship and celebrating the natural flavors of the Balcones Distillery have made Wild Roots whiskey a symbol of excellence in the world of spirits.
