Parker's Heritage 2020 10 Yr Heavy Char Barrels Bourbon is the 14th edition in this annual series from Heaven Hill named after the late master distiller Parker Beam. This Heavy Char Bourbon release is made from a mash bill of 78% corn, 12% malted barley, and 10% rye. The spirit is filled into 102 barrels which were charred for 1 minute and 30 seconds making them a level 5 char. Typically the distillery uses level 3 char barrels which are charred for 40 seconds. The barrels were aged on the 6th floor of Rickhouse Y. After 10 years of aging, the bourbon was cut to 120 proof without chill-filtration.

Parker's Heritage 2020 10 Yr Heavy Char Barrels Bourbon is the 14th yearly edition of the Parker’s Heritage Collection (PHC). This year’s release consisted of 141 barrel batch. We estimate 18,469 bottles produced, which would make it the largest PHC release yet. For every bottle sold, Heaven Hill will contribute $5 to ALS research and treatment in honor of Parker Beam.
