Taste
Buffalo Trace O.F.C 1994 is part of a series of vintage bourbons, that were aged for 25yrs to commemorate the rich history behind Buffalo Trace Distillery. This vintage bourbon is named after one of the original names of the distillery, Old Fashioned Copper. This smooth and decadent bourbon was crafted from Mash Bill #1, like other great spirits such as Eagle Rare, E.H. Taylor, and George T. Stagg. It is a mash bill of corn, rye, and malted barley, which has a lower rye content than mash bill #2. The nose on this one is rich with herbaceous aromas mingled with sweet vanilla, rich butterscotch, and earthy notes of oak. You'll notice slight hints of toasted caramel on the palate, layered with slight hints of cinnamon spices. The finish is lingering with notes of espresso and oak.

History
Buffalo Trace O.F.C 1994
is a premium bourbon that honors the O.F.C. Distillery, a National Historic Landmark known today as Buffalo Trace Distillery. The Old Fashioned Copper Distillery, was first established in 1869 by the great Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. The Old Fashioned Copper Distillery, was the most cutting edge distillery of its era featuring copper fermentation vats, column stills, and a first of its kind steam, heating system, that is still used in their aging warehouses today. This exceptional bourbon was released in December of 2018. There were only 822 bottles made, making this a great collectors item for any bourbon connoisseur. Each bottle arrives inside a wooden box, and is made with hand-cut crystal and features real copper lettering dated to the specific year in which the bourbon was distilled. Each label is a hand applied paper label, and the Provence card features some of the same information as the back label.
