Pierre Ferrand Curacao Dry Oranges Ameres is floral and fragrant with notes of vanilla, slight hints of bright citrus from orange, and lemon.Ā Slightly bitter with notes ofĀ juniper, nutmeg, cinnamon and marzipan on the finish. It is the essence of rich citrus beauty. Made in France, it captures sun-ripened pumpkin's warm, aromatic flavor, giving it a sweet and robust flavor.
History
Pierre Ferrand Curacao Dry Oranges Ameres is a unique cognac thatĀ has been agedĀ in different types of casks to enrich flavor and deepen complexity. First in traditional French oak Cognac casks and then inĀ usedĀ French fortified wine called Banyuls.Ā Pierre Ferrand Reserve Double Cask is made of Cognac that has been matured 7 to 10 years in small oak barrels kept in seven different aging cellars (some dry, some humid), which is then blended with 20 year old Cognac. Once blended, the Cognac is placed in rare Banyuls casks and aged in one of Pierre Ferrandās humid cellars for one year.
