Borghetti Sambuca is known for its characteristic fennel flavor, derived from the essential oils of star fennel seeds, giving it a unique and aromatic flavor. It is produced in Italy, this sambuca supports internal methods, where rich fennel seeds and other botanicals are expertly blended to achieve its exotic flavor. It is smooth and mellow with aromas of fruit on the nose. The palate is flavorful with distinguishable notes of star anise. The finish is rich and luscious with fruity notes on the backend of the palate. 

History
Borghetti Sambuca was founded by Bernardino Branca in 1845 in Milan, over 160 years ago, the business has always been controlled by the Branca family, who has worked through the years to make Fernet Branca one of the most famous bitter liqueurs in the world. This is how many "historic products" such as Stravecchio Branca and Brancamenta were born, up to a further expansion into the market of wines and sparkling wines. Alongside the new products, also a number of development strategies have been devised, especially from the year 2000 to the present day, under the supervision of Niccolò Branca, Chairman of Fratelli Branca Distillery made a strategic approach, extension lines, marketing strategies, the emersion of qualified management for the operations and the integration of competences in the product quality control.
