History
Remy Martin V Eau-de-Vie is a unique cognac which celebrates heritage and tradition. This unique spirits named Remy Martin V commemorates Monsieur Rémy Martin who was the first to be granted permission to plant a new vineyard in 1738. This was a big event during this time period because it was strictly forbidden at the time, therefore it was a great honor and privilege. The vineyard started producing Eaux-de-vie 14 years later. All Eaux de vie ages in new and neutral French oak barrels, per the Cognac production regulations. Remy Martin V includes brandy aged as little as four and as old as 20, with an average age of 12.
