El Jolgorio Barril Joven Mezcal is an earthy and herbaceous Mezcal, which is crafted with signature agave Barril which is known for producing premium Mezcal with a velvety and signature profiles. This Mezcal is sweet and refreshing with vibrant flavorful profiles of citrus on the palate.

History
El Jolgorio Barril Joven Mezcal is part of the special release series, this spirit is produced using Barril which is a subspecies of the Karwinsinskii Family of agaves that grows in the hilly areas. It grows a long stalk, resembling a tree and creates a mezcal of great complexity. It is produced by the legendary Mezcalero Pedro Vasquez, along with his sons Librado and Pedro Jr., at their tiny family ranch in Lachigui. It is situated well off the grid in the wild mountainous terrain of the Miahuatlán district of Oaxaca.
