History
1792 Small Batch Bourbon was crafted in a distillery built next to Thomas Moore Spring, back in 1879. There are two natural springs on the property that have limestone that filters the water. Limestone filters out the iron and adds calcium to our water, making it perfect for creating bourbon. After we’ve taken our corn, rye, and barley, cooked it, fermented it, and distilled it, the product comes up to the still and then gets put into barrels. The tail box in the distillation process is essentially a show box that allows you to see what’s coming out and taste the whiskey before they put it in a barrel made from copper. The meticulous process ensures a rich and complex flavor profile, making 1792 Small Batch Bourbon a distinguished choice among whiskey enthusiasts.
