Distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2022 at the Willett Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, this small-batch release highlights Willett’s continued dedication to traditional methods and uncompromising quality. Crafted from a mash bill of approximately 65% corn, 20% wheat, and 15% malted barley, the bourbon was aged in charred American oak barrels for eight years and bottled without chill filtration to preserve its natural character. As part of Willett’s growing lineup of estate-distilled expressions, the Wheated 8 Year stands as a milestone in the brand’s ongoing legacy honoring the heritage of Kentucky bourbon-making while offering a unique and refined take on the wheated style that bourbon enthusiasts treasure.
