The finish has notes of graphite, black olives, anise, leather a cigar box and crushed stone mingle fine grained tannins.

History
DAOU Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is named after the Arabic word which means light or illumination. (DAOU is pronounced like wow.) It was created by two brothers Georges Daou and Daniel Daou, it is the realization of their childhood dream. When they were young their dad used to open a bottle of wine during dinner and they would have some at lunch, and it was a passion that grew. Paso Robles was a dream to become a winemaker with two perfect elements: Climate, and amazing soils which allows them to achieve ripeness, creating some of the best grapes with a natural acidity. Every year they strive to perfect the quality making each bottle better by year. Whether enjoyed in central California or at events worldwide, it is a favorite among seekers of the most authentic, elegant, and unique American wine experience. Embrace California's winemaking heritage and prosperous growth with the current DAOU Reserve Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon, and elevate your drinking experience – where tradition, innovation, and timeless energy combine in a spirited celebration of craftsmanship with the protective spirit of Paso Robles.
