Arak Haddad Silver is known for its premium quality, carefully crafted using traditional distillation techniques and high-quality materials, reflecting the finest standards. It is smooth with a strong Anise and flavor. The palate features blended herbs mingled with fruity notes, making it ideal before and after a meal. Ice-cold water is often used; the addition of water to arrack gives it a cloudy appearance, a common modification known as the "Louche Effect," enhancing its flavor and aroma.
Arak Haddad Silver is produced with specially treated water, Anise, and alcohol. The alcohol is produced with estate-grown Cinsault grape, and Obeidi which are then blended with the fresh Anise. It is then processed in a hundred-year-old cellar, and matured for 5 years in old clay jars. Its production has been uninterrupted since1868! Arak Haddad Silver comes from the rich cultural heritage of Lebanon, where Arak holds special cultural significance. Made in adherence to time-honored methods passed down from generation to generation, this beautiful wine is the craftsmanship and highest quality associated with Lebanese wine production.
