History
Berlucchi Franciacorta Extra Brut '61 was crafted with Chardonnay grapes at 90% and Pinot Nero at 10% coming from different towns in the Franciacorta area. Part of the cultivation is taken care by the Berlucchi specialists. There is a soft pressing of the grapes with the fractioning of the musts. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks and the full maturation of the cuvee occurs in the next spring. Finally it is bottled with the liqueur the tirage for 24 grams per liter of sugars and selected yeasts. The aging on yeasts for 24 months is followed by other two months after the disgorging. Whether enjoyed in the heart of Italy or at festivals worldwide, this is preferred by those who seek authentic, elegant, and unique Italian sparkling wine options.
