Berlucchi Franciacorta Brut '61 is smooth and refreshing with complex notes of citrus fruit, pineapple and a crisp, clean finish.

History
Berlucchi Franciacorta Brut '61 was crafted with Chardonnay grapes at 90% and Pinot Nero at 10% coming from different towns in the Franciacorta area. Part of the cultivation is taken care by the Berlucchi specialists. There is a soft pressing of the grapes with the fractioning of the musts. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks and the full maturation of the cuvee occurs in the next spring. Finally it is bottled with the liqueur the tirage for 24 grams per liter of sugars and selected yeasts. The aging on yeasts for 24 months is followed by other two months after the disgorging.
