Del Maguey Pechuga Mezcal is floral and fragrant with prominent notes of cooked agave, slight hints of basil, lemon, fruit and minerals. The finish is smoky with a sweet after taste.

History
Del Maguey Pechuga Mezcal is a unique spirit that is produced in limited quantity's due to its special ingredients like wild mountain apples and plums that must be in season in order for them to be added to the distillate. This mezcal is triple-distilled and the third distillation requires the vapors to pass through a suspended, skinless chicken breast before it condenses to form Pechuga Mezcal. (“Pechuga” means ‘breast’ in Spanish.)
