Don Cayo Extra Añejo is a rich, sensory delight that transports you to the heart of Mexico. This Añejo is smooth and silky with prominent notes of cooked agave on the nose mingled with sweet notes of caramel. The finish is mellow and sweet with undertones of vanilla on the backend of the palate.

History
Don Cayo Extra Añejo is a unique spirit produced with a commitment to time-honored tradition and uncompromising quality, it captures the essence of Mexican culture and craftsmanship. This fine Añejo is produced from 100% Tequilana Webber agave which is grown in Jalisco, Mexico. After the agave is harvested, the piña or heart of the plant is then cooked in stone and brick ovens, and twice distilled in stainless steel tanks. This Extra Añejo is then aged five years in French white oak barrels.
