Elmer T. Lee Bourbon is a limited edition bourbon, named after Master Distiller Elmer T. Lee at the award-winning Distillery, Buffalo Trace. This splendid and smooth bourbon was crafted to commemorate Elmer T. Lee. It is produced from Mash Bill #2, like other great spirits such as Blanton's, William Larue, and Pappy Van winkle. It is a sour mash bill produced of corn, malted barley and extra rye. This bourbon is soft and mellow with distinctive notes of oak and tannins, mingled with the essence of burnt sugar, caramel, and bursts of tropical fruits. The finish is long and sweet with faint notes of honey, vanilla, and light spice.

Elmer T. Lee Bourbon is a unique spirit, that is produced as a commemorative bottling honoring Elmer T. Lee. It is produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery. It was founded in 1775 and has had several names since then including the George T. Stagg Distillery and the Old Fashioned Copper Distillery. Previously owned by the Sazerac company, but now known as The famous Buffalo Trace Distillery.  It is the most award-winning distillery and has won several awards, including not one, but seven "Distillery of the Year" recognitions. Buffalo Trace Distillery is still family-owned and located in Franklin County, Kentucky, with over 130 acres of architecture, all still operational. This once use to be the home for the world's most exclusive Master Distillers such as Albert B. Blanton, E.H. Taylor, Elmer T. Lee, George T. Stagg, and Orville Schupp. This exquisite bourbon is made with Mash Bill #1 which is produced from the finest corn, rye, and malted barley, and then aged in new oak barrels until the peak of maturity. It is consistently rated among the best bourbons in the world due to its rich taste, and great value. Proceeds from this limited edition bottling will go to the Frankfort VFW Post 4075 where Lee was a member until he died in 2013. 5 Stars - Highest Recommendation.
