It was created in the heart of Bordeaux, France, where winemaking has been refined for centuries, a unique aperitif was born: Lillet Blanc. The origins of Lillet Rouge can be traced back to 1872 when winemaking enthusiasts and innovators Paul and Raymond Lillet established their winery in Podensac, a small town nestled in the vineyards of Bordeaux.
