Louis XIII Cognac is a beautiful Cognac made in honor of Louis Jolliet, a French Canadian explorer whose multiple explorations were instrumental in the establishment of North America. Among his several expeditions was his discovery of the upper Mississippi River in 1673. Its marvelous copper and light amber hues touch the tongue while the nose is treated to plenty of candied fruits right away, particularly apricot, apple, pear, prune, then followed by notes of vanilla, toffee, almonds and gourmet creme brulee. Silky and long finish.
Louis XIII Cognac is an exquisite blend of up to 1,200 grapes eaux-de-vie sourced 100% from Grande Champagne and matured slowly inside oak casks. LOUIS XIII is a rare artifact that is the life achievement of generations of cellar masters. Louis XIII Cognac is not just a cognac, it's a journey through time. Spanning across generations, this legendary blend encapsulates over a century of heritage, expertise, and French craftsmanship. Originating from the prestigious House of Rémy Martin, Louis XIII is the epitome of luxury and a tribute to the meticulous art of cognac-making. The odyssey of creating Louis XIII begins with the handpicking of exquisite eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne region, known for its optimal terroir. Each chosen eau-de-vie undergoes a long aging process in centuries-old Limousin oak barrels, gradually metamorphosing into a cognac of unparalleled complexity and depth. As you uncork the regal decanter, an enchanting bouquet of rich, mature aromas unfurls, hinting at the multifaceted voyage that awaits. The palate is graced by a harmonious symphony of flavors, each note a testimony to the eaux-devie's long maturation journey. The enduring finish is a gentle caress to the senses, leaving an indelible mark of elegance and timelessness.
