Sorgin Dry Gin Gold Small Batch is a unique spirit that marries the worlds of wine and gin, inspired by the delicate, fruity, and complex grape variety of Sauvignon Blanc. Crafted by François Lurton, a name synonymous with winemaking, Sorgin steps into a realm where the vine meets the botanical. It is the first gin made from Sauvignon Blanc, with no redistillation to retain its aromatic richness and devoid of added sugar, emphasizing the natural essence of its ingredients. The name "Sorgin" translates to "witch" in Basque, reflecting the spirited conviviality intrinsic to Basque festivities. This gin embodies a complex profile, exalting the traditional juniper along with Sauvignon Blanc's fruity and vegetal notes, creating a powerful aromatic presence. The base of Sorgin is an eau de vie de vin, enhanced by the natural aroma of Sauvignon Blanc, which beautifully complements the traditional juniper and a curated selection of six varied botanicals: citrus zest (grapefruit, yellow and green lemon), violet, broom, and blackcurrant bud.  It is a Basque word describing the 'sorcerers', those able to keep their good mood and energy through the night.
