Yamazaki 18 Year Limited Edition is a highly collectible single malt whiskey which has been aged Eighteen Years, and matured in Mizunara oak, and American oak casks, to honor the Suntory Whisky's centenary. It really show cases the Mizunara Casks which is said to "enhance" the single malt whisky with its distinctive Japanese character. The nose is mellow with light fruity aromas. The palate is fragrant with fruity notes, and winter spice. The finish is long, spicy and smooth.

History
Yamazaki 18 Year Limited Edition is a single malt whisky which is produced at the Yamazaki Distillery in Japan. The Yamazaki Distillery was established in 1923 as the first commercial whisky distillery. It is owned by Suntory whose founder Shinjiro Torii was inspired by Scottish whisky, and set out to create his own Japanese inspiration from different terrain, and climate conditions. Suntory is now a world famous brand which is known for producing quality, technique, and sophistication. Yamazaki Distillery is located at the cross boundary of the Yi-Lan mountains, which overlook the Pacific Ocean. This Limited Edition, with beautiful packaging, was released only for Duty Free.
