The Original Wheated Bourbon Whiskey features an exceptionally smooth taste, substituting wheat for rye grain. Bottled at 90 proof, this bourbon stands out with its burnt orange color. Its softer flavor notes make this bourbon great for sipping or making cocktails.
W. L. Weller Special Reserve
Replacing the rye grain in the traditional recipe with wheat provides for an exceptionally smooth taste. And at 7 years of age and 90 proof, W. L. Weller is a truly outstanding buy.
A sweet nose with a presence of caramel. Tasting notes of honey, butterscotch, and a soft woodiness. It's smooth, delicate and calm. Features a smooth finish with a sweet honeysuckle flair.

The product is overpriced on your website. After ordering from you I found it at a price 30 dollars cheaper than you sold it to me for plus you charged an insane amount for shipping. I will do more research in the future before I buy online. The bourbon itself is highly touted but I’m not altogether sure that what is in this bottle is in fact Weller bourbon. It does not taste like wheated bourbon at all and in fact tastes much more like bourbon with rye as the second grain on the mash bill. So sorry i won’t be buying from you all in the future.
I ordered four bottles of the same bourbon. Upon delivery, one of the four bottles was ****** due to both **** packaging and **** handling. I contacted Bottle Buzz and they offered a refund for the purchase price plus a $5 shipping credit on the next order. However, I asked for a replacement instead. Bottle Buzz didn't even acknowledge the replacement request and instead refunded some, but not all of the costs incurred with this damaged product. I purchased 4 bottles of the same bourbon at $69.99 per bottle, plus insurance at $1.75 per bottle, plus shipping at $11.77 per bottle. My total bill for four bottles of the same bourbon was $334.02. That equals $83.50 for each bottle. I was refunded the $69.99 and given a $5 credit for shipping, that's $74.99, which causes me to actually lose $8.51 on that one bottle that was damaged. I'm not sure how a combination of **** packaging and **** shipment handling should cost the customer any money and they would not offer any explanation or even respond to follow up emails requesting additional information. Buyer beware, once you order they are not responsive and their "shipping insurance" is another way for them to make money at the customer's expense. They have failed to respond to any of the requests for a replacement and instead chose to give a partial refund on an insured purchase. I will not be purchasing from them again.
Great! Ordered Weller and a couple sipping glasses and it arrived in record tome and in perfect condition! We will use Bottle Buzz again!
I bought this as a Christmas present for my SIL, who has only tasted but never owned a bottle of Special Reserve. It arrived well before Christmas, was PERFECTLY packaged (you guys really do that very well!) and he said it was the best Christmas present ever!
Nick did a fantastic job prepping bottles for shipping and they arrived in 48 hours. Reasonable California price for Weller and fantastic availability. Overall exceptional experience.
