WhistlePig The Boss Hog Edition 4 is known as Edition Number 4 in "The Boss Hog Series" of Whiskeys produced in Vermont to commemorate the Harvest of the Whistle pig. This Special Edition Whisky is produced with a mash bill of corn malted barely and extra rye to impart a spicier tone all through out the whiskey. This limited edition whisky is rich and refreshing with bright aromas of apricot, and citrus. On the palate you'll notice harmonious blends of clove, black tea, and cinnamon. The finish is complex with essence of burnt sugar, roasted marshmallows, and dried fruit.

It is known as “The Black Prince". who won "Best In Show" in San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2017. It is the first Rye Whiskey to be finished in Armagnac casks, straight from France. A real tribute to American power and French sophistication. It was produced in Shoreham, Vermont at a 500 acre farm which is not opened to the public. Whistlepig has continued to grow in popularity due to its longer aging process and premium packaging. This old whisky is Hand Bottled in Vermont, and topped with a collectible stopper of a chiseled pig handcrafted by Danforth Pewter Works.
