Widow Jane Rye Oak & Applewood Aged is sweet with dominant apple notes and subtle sweetness.Deep copper, apple cider, and a hint of tobacco on the nose. Bittersweet, and smoky flavors mixed with hints of licorice anise. Sweet, and crisp apple-flavored finish.

History
Widow Jane Rye Oak & Applewood Aged is produced at the Widow Jane Distillery, which is owned by Cacao Prieto. It was first established in 2012. The Oak Rye aged was crafted with a once-used 10-year bourbon barrel. The vision was to enhance the rye profile into a new profile, that would make a soothing and fruity rye compared to traditional ryes it is made with.
