Taste
Woodford Reserve Straight Malt Whiskey is soft with notes of dried caramel on the palate, mingled with light caramel and milk chocolate. The palate is bursting with tropical flavors from apple, and dried fruit. The finish is spicey, and warm with savory mint, and brown sugar notes. It is a unique spirit with five sources of flavor with an emphasis on the nuttiness of grain, and toasted oak of the barrel, delivering a more buttery expression than bourbon. Using Malt grain allows the wood to play a big role in the flavor.

History
Woodford Reserve Straight Malt Whiskey It is made from a combination of pot still, and column still whiskey. The bourbon is aged between 6-7 years, and carries no age statement. Bottled at 45.2% ABV. Distilled at its namesake Woodford Reserve Distillery located in Versailles, Kentucky.
