Edmond Briottet Creme de Bergamote Liqueur 700ml is crafted from the fruit of the bergamot tree, which is mainly grown in Italy. Bergamot oranges are the result of crossing a bitter orange variety with a lime variety. Its flesh is slightly acidic and bitter. Only the zest of the orange is used to extract a natural essential oil, which is utilized in our liqueur, as well as in the renowned Earl Grey tea and in “Bergamote de Nancy” (sweets from the East of France). The Briotette Creme de Bergamot liqueur comes from Maison Briotttet, a distinguished French winemaker with 19th-century heritage.
