It is a delightful expression of Chicago's first distillery since the prohibition era, meticulously crafted in small batches. Four Grain is distilled from a mash bill of oat, malted barley, rye, and wheat, and is aged in heavily charred new oak barrels from Minnesota before being bottled single barrel at 94 proof. The four grains define its depth with a banana nose, creamy palate, and spicy finish. Only the "heart cut" of the distillate is used, ensuring a refined flavor profile without the "heads" or "tails."
