Yamazaki Puncheon Edition 2022 is a limited edition single malt whisky produced in a small batch at the renowned Yamazaki Distillery in Japan. As part of the 2022 Yamazaki Cask Series, this exquisite whisky was matured in Japanese American oak, which imparts unique flavors and depth. Established in 1923, the Yamazaki Distillery is Japan's first commercial whisky distillery, founded by Shinjiro Torii of Suntory. Torii was inspired by the Scottish whisky-making tradition but aimed to capture the essence of Japan's diverse terrain and climate. Today, Suntory is celebrated globally for its dedication to quality and craftsmanship. Nestled at the foot of the Yi-Lan mountains, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the Yamazaki Distillery enjoys a picturesque setting that enhances its whisky's character.
