Yamazaki 25 Year is a highly collectible single malt whiskey, which has been aged Twenty-Five years. It is matured in Oloroso Sherry Casks which imparts a richer and more complex tasting profile. The nose on this one is rich and fruity with aromas of walnut, almond, and a touch of oak. The palate is greeted with a touch of oak, soft sherry, and a hint of caramel. The finish is warm with notes of peppercorn with Sherry Soaked Cherries.

History
Yamazaki 25 Year is a single malt whisky, which is produced at the Yamazaki Distillery in Japan. The Yamazaki Distillery was established in 1923 as the first commercial whisky distillery, it is owned by Suntory, whose founder Shinjiro Torii was inspired by Scottish whisky, and set out to create his own Japanese terrain, and climate conditions. Suntory is now a world famous brand which is known for producing quality, technique, and sophistication. Yamazaki Distillery is located at the cross boundary of the Yi-Lan mountains, which overlook the Pacific Ocean.
